Wrap Care & Warranty Details

Here are the care and warranty details for your new vehicle wrap...

Warranty Coverage

Your new wrap includes a 2-year warranty on vertical panels and 1-year coverage on the hood and roof, due to the extreme exposure those surfaces receive from Texas heat. That said, your wrap can last 5+ years with proper care—especially if the vehicle is parked indoors, in the shade, or under a cover when possible. Please know if there's ever an issue due to installation or material failure, we always make it right.

How to Care for Your Wrap

Washing (Hand Washing is Best)

We recommend hand washing every two weeks using a non-abrasive, pH-neutral car soap. Some quick tips:

  • Start from the top and work your way down
  • Use a soft sponge or microfiber cloth—avoid aggressive scrubbing
  • Be extra gentle with matte or textured finishes
  • Dry with a clean microfiber towel

Recommended Cleaners:

  • 3M Car Wash Soap 39000
  • Meguiar’s NXT Generation Car Wash
  • Deep Crystal Car Wash
  • Croftgate Wrap Care (for matte or gloss finishes)

Avoid These Products:

Please do not use the following, as they can damage the vinyl:

  • Oil-based or citrus-based cleaners
  • Oven cleaner or engine degreaser
  • Kitchen/bathroom cleaners
  • Solvents or any harsh chemicals
  • Gasoline (wipe spills immediately and wash the area as soon as possible)

Pressure Washing (If You Must)

Hand washing is preferred, but if pressure washing is necessary:

  • Keep pressure between 800–2000 psi
  • Use water temps between 72°–180°F
  • Spray perpendicular to the surface (90° angle)
  • Use a 40-degree wide-angle nozzle
  • Keep at least 12–18 inches away from the vehicle (4–6 feet is ideal)

Machine Washing: (A Hard No)

Automatic car washes, even brushless ones, are not safe for your wrap. Brushes can:

  • Scratch or dull the vinyl
  • Cause edges to lift or chip
  • Void your wrap’s warranty

Trust us—skip the machine wash and stick to hand washing for best results.

Storage & Sun Exposure

If this is a fleet or daily-use vehicle, try rotating which side faces the sun to ensure even fading. For optimal protection, store the vehicle indoors or under a cover to reduce exposure to UV rays and environmental contaminants.

You’ve invested in a standout custom wrap—just a little regular care goes a long way in keeping it looking sharp.
